A charming video, all the way through, a dose of inspiration to empower women ~ at Converse, or anywhere! :)

Converse Musicians Shine in New Music Video

"Will you lend me your hand? All I ask of you today, will you open doors? I will seize every moment, every dream. I'm here today because you stand by me."

In May, 28 women from the Converse community including traditional undergraduate and Converse II students, faculty, staff and alumnae came together to record a Converse-inspired version of "Stand By Me." Each of these dynamic women played a unique role in the production-Natasha Senanayake '12 arranged the music, Beth Farmer Lancaster '96 wrote the lyrics, the Nofella A Cappella singers provided the vocals, and music students and faculty members accompanied the piece on instruments ranging from timpani to handbells to the French horn. The collective experience was captured on film, and is now ready to debut to the Converse community!
