Youngest City Council Member: Verhonda Crawford

By day, Verhonda Crawford is a junior at Gardner Webb University with a part time job.

But by night she is South Carolina’s youngest city council member serving the city of Chesnee.

She has big ideas for how to improve the city's economy.

She says she will do this by “bringing more events to Chesnee so on a weekend, Chesnee will be a destination."

The coda park in Chesnee is a popular place for weddings, live music and community…
