Has anyone started a Spartanburg County petition for Linda Ketner for U.S. Senate? They have to be county-specific and there will need to be 10,000 signatures gathered statewide by something like July 11.

Another thing to point out is that aside from USC Columbia students being 60% women, the majority of enrollment at the other USC campuses (hint:UPSTATE being one of them) is also higher percentage female. This is a nationwide trend too.

Leah Moody's candidacy for the board will have to be voted on by the state legislature and that will probably happen April 14.

Leah Moody, an attorney from Rock Hill, was appointed to the board by the governor, but now must run for re-election. I cannot wait to read your book ~ thank you for the copy! What an unexpected treat, full of great things, I'm sure: as succinct (and still wholly useful) as your presentation was, I can't wait to see what gems are tucked into your tiny book on civil discourse also.
Tammy, I can only hope that this gathering represents the beginning of a comeback of the best kind of rhetoric ~ at least for the City of Spartanburg, if not beyond.
