Charming and informative!

And a special invitation from Melissa:

"On Saturday, March 14, from 10am–12 noon in Phifer Hall's  Dalton Auditorium at Converse College, we are hosting a genealogy workshop.  Dr. Alexia Helsley, a historian retired from the SC Department of Archives and History, will introduce attendees to the basics of conducting family history research, including specific strategies for people of various races and national origins.

This event, co-sponsored by the Office of the Chaplain, the Department of History and Politics, and the Association of African American Students, is funded by a McKinney-Jernigan Creativity Grant.  The event is free and open to the public.
