You have two ways to "Start the Swarm" on Bee Day!
—Join Tell Them! at The Showroom on Tuesday night in downtown Spartanburg for a very special pre-Bee Day Petition Signing & Cocktail drop-in ... They invite you to help Start the Swarm!
—If you can't be with us on Tuesday night, then just click here to sign the petition online so that your support of services that make sense can also be heard in Columbia on Wednesday!
In case you haven't yet heard this around town or seen this on Facebook ~ on Tuesday night, you can be among the first of thousands in our state to support putting our funding dollars back into *prevention* programs on "Bee Day!"
Stop in The Showroom to sign the petition and scoot on to the rest of your evening ~ or, stay for a bit with friends, whatever your schedule allows.
Wednesday, March 30, thousands of South Carolinians will take part in "Bee Day" to send their elected officials a clear message (using a simple pre-formatted email ~ see below*) that they support the proper funding of services that prevent unintended teen pregnancy ...which can save South Carolina taxpayers $180 million every year.

*Click for the The "Bee Day" Petition:
"Every year, $180 million of our tax dollars pay for the financial repercussions of births to teen mothers. That’s $180 million dollars a state already in budget crisis doesn’t have.
"That’s $180 million that could create jobs for 3,747 teachers, or pay 5,616 firefighters’ salaries, or send 23,376 SC students to college, or keep 251,396 members of our law enforcement safe with bulletproof vests. The choices are limitless. Our tax dollars are not.
"Our legislators have the power to free up millions in our state budget by choosing to invest in family planning services—but they need to hear that their constituents consider prevention a priority. It’s your money. Tell them where to spend it.
"YES! Add my name to the thousands of South Carolinians who support investment in prevention programs and services."
